I am floored.
My husband has just made a large deposit at the Bank of Marital Capital. We don’t usually make a huge deal out of Valentine’s Day or give each other big gifts, so I was shocked when I opened up the FedEx box.
Judging by how long it took me to upload and post these two pictures, I have a bit of a learning curve ahead of me. I have never had a Mac before. But…IT’S SO PRETTY. I’m sure we will be best friends in no time.
First item on the agenda? Rectify the MS PAINT situation. There’s gotta be an app for that…right?

Wow – he did good. Enjoy the Mac. Guess the gifts get better when you can’t spend the day together.
So nice! And oh so pretty! I got 18 Pages into the 141 page iPad manual and quit. At least i’ll have someone to share my Mac learning curve pain with – it’s what we get for being hold outs. Seriously been thinking about this thing you call speed work. What would it take for you to kick my butt around a track this summer?
I am definitely game for some sweltering summer speed work!
Now you can be one of the cool kids in the coffee shop.
Woooooow. That’s a SERIOUS deposit. Very pretty.
YEAH!!! once you go mac you never go back
That’s awesome!
I’m so lost when it comes to the Mac, but everyone who has one has nothing bad to say about it…. congrats! :p
Paintbrush!
Is that a separate app/program that I need to download? And is that the exact name of it? There seem to be a million Paint-like apps!
You win!
I used to use Seashore when I needed some MS Paint goodness, but it’s been a while. it was a good freebie though so go look for it!
Okay, so your husband rules…. hope you find the answer to your MS Paint situation. I know nothing about Macs.
You will LOVE your Mac! I was a diehard Windows fan up until my laptop crashed about a year ago and I got a Mac – best investment ever!
awww shit! Someone brought it this year! And Macs are awesome. We had a Mac lab in college and I would sneak in all the time even when I wasn’t working on promotional projects, I just loved them so much more than the regular PC’s.
Here is a good place to start for your MS Paint replacement:

And congrats, Mac’s are the best thing EVER!
WOW! that’s an awesome v-day gift! my husband got me an iPad for our anniversary last year. i was so excited! it was my first mac product too and i did have a lot to learn.
WOW. Good job hubby! My boyfriend loves his macbook! Enjoy!
You better bring it on Steak & BJ Day.
Wow, that’s a pretty sweet gift. And to think, I so was confused by the title of your post…
Wow – how awesome! We just bought an iPad…not really for any occasion but some of my birthday money from our parents went towards it. I have a ton to learn still, but I love it.
Wow, good job, husband! I ate too much chocolate, so…my day was pretty kick ass, too.
After reading your title I thought that apples are better than chocolate only went formented, but your situation fits the villas well.
I hate auto correct. Only when formented and fits the bill…Ahhh
Mac > *
Whoa! Happy Valentine’s Day! Have fun with the learning curve…its the reason I’m afraid of the Mac. But then I can’t even figure out how to properly use the iTouch!
Have eyed the Air for years, although ended up with the Macbook Pro when I finally made the switch from PC. There’s no doubt you’re gonna loving being a Mac
And he did very good!
